Have a drink, enjoy a meal and relax to the mellow groove of three (plus one) different divas; three different nights. Very cool ladies singing very cool jazz and favourite ballads -- what better place than Hermann’s Jazz Club? MYC Trio has Robert Mari on piano with his beautiful restrained touch accentuating his innovative jazz improvisations, James Young on bass adding a counterpoint of smooth sounds and Gerry Charlebois delicately sounding percussion with his magic touch--it will be an evening you won’t forget!

Opening up the first half of the show this Friday night will be the incredible jazz duets of Martin Moskow and Caila Thompson-Hannant singing an awesome collection including ‘All of Me’ and ‘Somewhere’. Martin (arrived in Victoria only 3 weeks ago) has performed on Broadway and is an amazing talent you won’t want to miss. And if you haven’t heard Caila sing ‘Stormy Weather’ than you are in for a marvelous feeling that will keep you warm all winter long.

In the second half will be the sensational Miranda Sage singing songs from her recent CD ‘Moon Tiger’ a mix of jazz and standards. She will be covering such hits as ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ and ‘I Thought About You’. Miranda has ‘a voice of thrilling flexibility and range, making jazz singing sound like it’s the easiest thing in the world’. Her music creates an atmosphere that is both sensual and romantic. Ahh….smooth and comfortable.

On Friday, November 28th the multi-talented Diane Pancel will be performing many jazz favourites along with some laid back standards. You will sway to the rhythm of Latin, Fado,
and Jazz as you get in the mood for the holiday season. Martin Moskow will do some duets with Diane.

The incredible Jaime Taylor will be singing holiday jazz standards on Friday, December 12th from Robert and Jaime’s ‘A Note for Christmas’ CD. If this doesn’t put you in the mood for the holiday season than nothing will!

There you have it: Three (Plus one) Different Divas; Three Different Nights…. Who could ask for anything more?
